When a spot on the waitlist opens up, everyone who is on the waitlist for the session will be notified and the first person to accept the spot will get into the session.
Memberships can not be paused. You can cancel and rejoin if you would like but will have to pay the initiation fee upon rejoining.

We're in building B! Follow the signs, and you can park anywhere there is a spot available in front of our building. Parking is free, so just grab the first spot you see.
The facility is located on the 4th floor of the parking garage of the Hartland Plaza building at 1717 West 6th Street. We provide vouchers for discounted parking rates of $5 for the first 2 hours and $5 after that with a cap at $10. Just ask our Front Desk staff for the voucher for the discounted rates.

Everyone is welcome as long as you have booked or are part of a reservation. Buckle up, buckaroos! The minimum age to play in our programs 12 years old. We require a guardian for all our guests under the age of 14 and welcome families to book a private court to play with your buckaroos. We plan to add youth programs soon to our programming schedule so please stay tuned!
We get it, sometimes life happens and you can’t make it to your reservation. Our cancellation policy helps us free up courts for the Austin community, so we encourage you to cancel your reservation in advance when you’re able to. Court reservations can be canceled up to 24 hours prior to start time with no charge. If a cancellation takes place within 24 hours of the start time, you will be charged for the booking unless we cancel the reservation due to weather in which case you wont be charged for the cancellation. All cancellation charges will be applied to your credit card immediately. For programs, the cancellation window depends on the event, so please be sure to read the event description and information in its entirety before signing up.
We find that players who are switching from tennis to pickleball can pick up the sport pretty fast. It is usually not too tricky because there are some similarities between the two sports. But, hey, there are some quirks you gotta get used to, like the rules, strategies, and how you serve.

Nope, you can't slam the pickleball while in the kitchen! There's this zone near the net called the non-volley zone or "kitchen." You can't volley the ball while standing in that kitchen area; you gotta keep your cool and stay out of it. It adds a bit of spice to the game, you know?

In pickleball, you typically play to 11 points. However, the winning team must have a lead of at least two points. This means if the score is tied at 10-10, you keep playing until one team manages to go ahead by two points, winning the game.
Our reservation system does not process payments for a booking until the booking is completed. If a cancellation is made due to bad weather, you will not be charged for the reservation and no refunds or credits will need to be made.

You gotta keep that pickleball over the net during the serve! Unlike tennis where you can sometimes hit the net and still keep the serve going, in pickleball, you need to get that serve cleanly over the net.

The courts are concrete with acrylic paint. Since the courts are on the rooftop, they actually have more give since they are on top of air and not directly on the ground.
There are non-alcoholic drinks and snacks available for purchase. You are not allowed to bring alcoholic beverages on to our premises.
Our Braker Lane facility is all indoors so all of our courts are covered and air conditioned.

We love pets! Well-behaved pups are allowed at our West 6th site, but must always remain on a leash and off the courts.
