Unlike traditional scoring, where a team can only score points when they are on the serving side, in rally scoring, a point is earned after every rally, whether it was won by the serving or receiving team. However, the first team to reach twenty points reverts to the traditional format and needs to win by two. Rally scoring in pickleball benefits fans by providing faster-paced games, increased intensity, easier-to-follow scoring, and enhanced suspense, making the sport more enjoyable and engaging for spectators.

Yes. You may play in gender and mixed.  We recommend that your mixed and gender divisions be no more than 1/2 point difference.

The minimum age to participate in any division is 12 years old

If 2 teams were to end the round robin portion with the same amount of wins, the first tiebreaker will be head to head record. If needed, the second tiebreaker will be point differential.

We just ask that you use your best judgment to self-evaluate your level. We want this to be a competitive event and think playing against other people at a similar skill level is part of the fun. We recommend that any player unsure of their rating play no greater than ½ lower than their USTA league level. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each round robin bracket.
