I'm Jeff Rausch, a passionate racquet sports coach based in Austin, Texas, with over two decades of coaching experience. As a 4-star certified professional—one of a select few in the world—I hold active coaching certifications from PTR, PPTR, PCR, and PPR, enabling me to coach tennis, pickleball, padel, and platform tennis. My deep commitment to racquet sports is reflected in my role as a Clinician for racketpro, where I lead coach certification workshops nationwide. Previously, I served as a traveling Coach Developer for the Professional Pickleball Registry, conducting over 80 certification workshops and training approximately 800 coaches.

As the Director of Pickleball at Austin Pickle Ranch, I played a key role in establishing Texas’s first official DUPR Assessment Center, giving players access to globally recognized ratings and competitive, skill-based matchups. I’ve also built a team of credentialed DUPR coaches, making Austin Pickle Ranch a hub for high-level pickleball training and competition.

An interesting aspect of my playing background is my ambidextrous style—I play tennis left-handed but use my right hand for other racquet sports, including pickleball. This versatility helped me achieve a national tennis ranking as high as #14 for two consecutive years.

Beyond coaching, I am a senior contributor for SportsEdTV and have been a featured speaker at numerous racquet sports conferences. My insights have been published in outlets like Pickleball Magazine and PPR’s "Around the Post." I was honored as PPR Coach of the Year and recognized by Racquet Sports Industry Magazine as one of their “Champions of Pickleball”.
